Stonemason

Thank you for your interest in the post of time served Stonemason with Historic Environment Scotland. We have various posts available throughout Central Scotland based at our depots which include Stirling, Perth, Doune, St Andrews, Burntisland, Arbroath and in the West Coast, Iona, Oban and Lochgilphead. These are permanent and pensionable appointments.

You will be part of one of nine Monument Conservation Units based throughout Central & West Scotland, tasked with the conservation, maintenance and presentation works at monuments within their areas including Stirling Castle, Doune Castle, St Andrews Cathedral, Arbroath Abbey and Iona Abbey
