Historic Environment Scotland (HES) is seeking candidates for a new role within our Towards a National Collection team, which comprises a Programme Director, a Senior Researcher and the Communications and Events Coordinator. As the Communication & Events Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to develop and deliver programme communications, largely through the web and social media, as well as coordinate an extensive UK-wide programme of online and in-person meetings, workshops and conferences. This will require travel and occasional overnight stays. In addition, this post will lead on the administration of the programme, including budget monitoring and supporting the Programme Director.
If you are someone who is; experienced in writing press releases, experience of event coordination and has an ability to prioritise competing tasks and work independently then this could be a fantastic opportunity for you.
